Simply put, one of our licensed clinicians or interns will talk with you about the things that are worrying you. From there, they will develop strategies tailored to fit your needs to help you overcome any difficulties. Our therapists have a wide variety of specialties, and the therapeutic approach varies from counselor to counselor and based on your treatment plan. A tailored plan is typically agreed upon between you and your therapist at the initial intake appointment.
Depending on the nature of your issues or stressors being treated, psychotherapy or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) may be recommended. Usually, simply talking individually to a therapist is the answer. Depending on your needs, our therapists offer DBT, EMDR, medication management, and pending approval, psychedelic-assisted therapy options. Each modality is dependent on the client’s individual needs and the therapist’s specialties.
If you have questions about a certain modality, call the office. We will work with you to determine the best method to fit your specific needs.
Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn’t. It primarily depends on you and the therapist. It is important to share your concerns in a serious, sincere, and open manner. Only if you are completely honest and open can you expect to receive the best support and guidance.
There should be a good “vibe” between you and the therapist you choose. Sometimes, someone else may be more suitable for your personality. Don’t give up on therapy, let us find the perfect therapist to fit your needs. Our “Right Fit” policy is very important to our office. We will strive to always find you the right therapist.

For the safety of yourself and others, there are some emergency situations where confidentiality can be breached. If this concerns you, please contact us for more detailed information.

This gives us time to fill that slot so others who are waiting to be seen have an opportunity. Our full cancellation policy is included in our client intake paperwork.
