One key point I want to highlight is that the website provides background information on each counselor, which I found very helpful. Omar is my counselor, and I always feel heard during our sessions. Some days, I just need to talk, while on others, my emotions overwhelm me and leave me without words. Omar consistently respects my pace and offers valuable insights and exercises that help me regulate and understand my feelings. I feel truly fortunate to have discovered Mind and Body, and even more so to have found such a great match with Omar.
Response from the owner:Hello Amy, I'm so happy to hear you are having a positive experience with Alison! She has proven to be an amazing member of the MBCA clinical team. It is always helpful to gain a client's perspective, so I really appreciate you offering this review! Thank you so much for recognizing our intention on the website of allowing you to connect with the therapist that best fits you. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" process. It's critical that each client connect with well with his or her therapist. To help with this, we also have a best fit policy allowing anyone who doesn't feel that initial connection the opportunity to try a different therapist as needed. We're fortunate to have 26 therapists to select from. Our ultimate goal is for you to have the best possible experience while spending time with us. Thanks again for your very kind words, Amy! Have a great day, Kate Linn Director of Operations Mind and Body Counseling Associates
